Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE/RSE) helps to give students the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead independent, confident, healthy lives and to become informed, active, responsible citizens. It provides opportunities for all students to learn and achieve; and promote students’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and prepare all students for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.
At TCES we also deliver a curriculum for our pupils to develop the skills needed for success and Our unique and award-winning LIFE programme supports pupils of all abilities to develop leadership skills across a variety of areas and has benefits for the individual, their group, the whole school, and their communities beyond TCES. LIFE stands for the key principles we help our pupils to work towards: Leadership, Independence, Future options & employability, and Empowerment.
